Why do the Masters?
1. God said so... and that settled it. I did not go look for it. It came to me.
2. I will be able to create new resources for our missionaries in YWAM.
3. This will enhance the Bible study materials I am putting together for the Thai Church
Partnering with me in this
I was unable to raise support in order to do this Masters Degree with YWAM's University. It is a rather large amount of finance that I need and all the support I can get will be welcomed.
THE STORY
1 October 2015 I was having my quiet time when I sensed God speaking to me these words, and that He was referring to the Masters Program:
"Come up higher"
I did not know if such a phrase existed in the Bible, so I quickly Googled it. Luke14:10b came up.
"But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, go up higher.’ Then you will have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table with you." NKJV
That was a big wow moment for me. I filled in the application. It took me two weeks! When I was finished, I still had to push send... that took a while. It was like an eternity between my finger and that button. I waited nearly 3 months for the answer. But finally got the "you are accepted"
I received the most encouraging line from Tom Bloomer:
"Sarah is already a wonderful blessing to our mission, and I am already looking to the resources she will produce as part of this Master's degree work. I encourage any who can pray for her or give toward her school costs to do so, in obedience to that the Lord would say." Thank you,
