I press on to take hold

Will I see Spain? I really do not know.

Random pics I found:

Me as a little girl, around 1984 with my youngest brother Jacques.

I have zero photos of 1992...

For those who can remember February of 1992 - well... who can forget?

I was only 15. Four weeks in hospital and 4 months of zero sitting down6 Months with a neck to knee brace.  On July 1st,  my 16th B'day... I could sit for the first time in months.

An honest reflection on what I read

It has been a long day.

I am very tired.

Yet I am excited too.

Deeply disappointed (you will understand later)

but at the same time,  being filled with hope for this generation.

We are reading a book for Module 5.

Every module has come with it challenges

but between 1 and 5

something deep shifted inside of me.

I cannot say what.

I cannot even say how.

Perhaps it is a book like the one I...

From expecting a room,

to arrive at a furnished apartment was ...

like a positive punch in my gut!

On arrival, my friend handed me keys and said: "Welcome home" I of course burst into tears at the sheer generosity of allowing me to stay in the apartment next to the house. Not only did God call me back to South Africa in this season for a very specific assignment, but He provided me an incre...

A friend said...

"You're entering a new chapter in life"

I said:

"No, I think I ended a book,

God is starting a new series.

I am in Chapter One"

I was very surprised to found out that the very first original townYWAM functioned out from in

1973-75 in South Africa was none other than the town where I grew up in, and where I am moving to! It use to be YWAM Kempton Park. Why not! It's the home of Jo'...

I don’t think I want to say “HAPPY” new year to you that I love. Let me explain why I want to wish you my bathroom scenario!

My 1Jan’18  (this morning!) started by picking up two parents who came to see their daughter who found out on Christmas day she has cancer of the serious sort. How do I say “HAPPY” new year in the face of such a challenge.

Two of my sponsors are fighting cancer too and my dear Mom is real...

The message above is in light of 2 things:

1. The Whatapp message.  I fly in on the day they are warning us about security at the airports. (2NOV).

Please keep me in your prayers. We do not give into a spirit of fear but the message that was translated for us in Afrikaans going around on WhatsApp is a serious concern. I think God is exposing things.

2. I hear a lot via videos about "standing up for SA making...

During the Masters Program in Module 3, we had to compare Skye Jethani with Bill Johnson. We had Skye in person at both the International Discipleship Training Centre meetings in Chiang Mai earlier this year and he was one of our main Key Note Speakers for the University Meetings I just had in Costa Rica.

I would like to take a moment and strongly encourage the Body of Christ to purchase Skye's book "FUTUREVILLE...

Here is a short video that I made that captures the heart of the day.

It was very muddy and super slippery.

I learned a lot.

Crabs in the mud.

Fish in the mud.

Snails in the mud.

and very strange looking creatures in the mud.

I am glad I don't work in the mud.

Because of my back I actually cannot bend for too long...

So I was behind my camera and not in the mud too much myself.

The mud was so slippery I walked real...

Dear Friends & Sponsors,

Sometimes I pray, say amen... and move on with the day.

Sometimes I pray and know that something is up... I just don't know what.

Sometimes I pray... and it feels abnormally intense.

Then I keep praying as I see things that God is saying... and then...

God suddenly captures my heart for what I was praying and says:

And now you GO!

This is what happened this week.

I was having my norm...
