Welcome MAYCEE-Matteh! MAY you CEE the Goodness of God

23 May 2019

The same day I heard Yasi passed away from heart failure, a name immediately came to my mind for a new doggy. It was the strangest thing! I kept seeing it:  MAYCEE.

"Strange spelling," I thought.

I already placed myself in somewhat of a difficult financial position with Yasi. "Another dog?" I asked the Lord.

I sensed two things:

1. The Lord was really sad with me about Yasi.

2. When I prayed about it, He said: "May you see the goodness of the Lord towards you."

3. Meaning of the name: MAYCEE

"The Future is coming sooner rather than later!"

And Oh boy, have I been praying about some things!

I needed to hear that. I have so much going on behind the scenes yet my housing keeps eluding me. Four days ago, at the evening service, one of the pastors approached me.

He does not know me but said, "I have a word for you", he said, with his wife standing next to him. You are a ship that has traveled over oceans but your about to throw anchor. You are getting your nets ready and you will see, when you anchor, fish will come to you... you just have to sit still."

I call her Maycee Matteh (Rod/Staff) Somalia. Keeping the one nation that has been on my mind recently in front of me in prayer.

A friend gave me an audible book. I had no idea it was on Somalia. I wept through the entire book! "God! I said, "I want to do something for this super un-reached and broken nation"

I do have a M*slim project in the works... who knows... but the Game needs to be distributed first.

I took the Intercession game to the printing house. They will do it for me if I can raise the finance for it.

MAY you CEE the Goodness of God

I think my dog is connected with this project. She is a sign in my home, that God spoke and that God will finish His project that He started through the Dream he gave me years ago about designing a Christian Board Game. The Dream is about to come true. He will see to it.

The audio book: The insanity of God.

Once I got half way with the book... I understood the strangle Title. BRILLIANT book.

Duration: 9 hours 48 minutes

Summary:

The Insanity of God is the personal and lifelong journey of an ordinary couple from rural Kentucky who thought they were going on just your ordinary missionary pilgrimage, but discovered it would be anything but. After spending over six hard years doing relief work in Somalia, and experiencing life where it looked like God had turned away completely and He was clueless about the tragedies of life, the couple had a crisis of faith and left Africa asking God, "Does the gospel work anywhere when it is really a hard place?  It sure didn't work in Somalia.Nik recalls that, “God had always been so real to me, to Ruth, and to our boys. But was He enough, for the utter weariness of soul I experienced at that time, in that place, under those circumstances?” It is a question that many have asked and one that, if answered, can lead us to a whole new world of faith. How does faith survive, let alone flourish in a place like the Middle East? How can Good truly overcome such evil? How do you maintain hope when all is darkness around you? How can we say “greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world” when it may not be visibly true in that place at that time? How does anyone live an abundant, victorious Christian life in our world’s toughest places? Can Christianity even work outside of Western, dressed-up, ordered nations? If so, how? The Insanity of God tells a story—a remarkable and unique story to be sure, yet at heart a very human story—of the Ripkens’ own spiritual and emotional odyssey. The gripping, narrative account of a personal pilgrimage into some of the toughest places on earth, combined with sobering and insightful stories of the remarkable people of faith Nik and Ruth encountered on their journeys, will serve as a powerful course of revelation, growth, and challenge for anyone who wants to know whether God truly is enough...
