My time in South Africa | 40th

Happy 40th came and went very fast. It was a delight to see so many of you.

Please see my NEW PICTURE GALARY You will notice photos of the time Penny and I trained churches to GO... not with old thinking but with what we have at our disposal in this 21st century.

You will see Birthday pics, African Animals and Beautiful South Africa. I will also slip some pics in from Namibia... where I spent time with 3 very important people in my life.

At some point I felt really torn between SA and Thailand. The Lord gave me a verse that explained my inner turmoil:

Genesis 25:23 "But the children struggled together within her; and she said, "If it is so, why then am I this way?" So she went to inquire of the LORD. 23The LORD said to her, "Two nations are in your womb..." That gave me peace, seeing that I am doing, for both nations different projects all at the same time.

One of these projects, are to find where our South African Missionaries are. I cannot tell you right now why, but I contacted MANY friends, colleges and churches to ask if they had an Oversee's Missionary. Only 1 said yes. Every text message except one (A mega church) looked like this: "No, we do not have any"

This project, needless to say, needs to happen - so keep an eye on my news in the next couple of months.

If YOU know of ANY, please email me! sarahberiyth@gmail.com

Mid August I will be back in South Africa for one of two projects - the Masters.

I went home to fundraise for this but oops... instead of gaining, I lost 2 precious key sponsors. It happens from time to time, but not usually at crucial times like this. There is a major gap in my support, and I really would appreciate special prayer for this. I did gain one more sponsor!! Yahoo!!

On this note, I saw something in Corinthians for the first time a couple of days ago:

Have you ever really noticed what happens when we help a missionary with finance?

CHECK OUT 2 Cor 9:12

It really blew me away. No wonder I always feel a sense of joy when I tithe to the one I monthly support!

1. It will cause Worship to follow.

2. You will prove yourself as a believer

3. It is a statement of your confession of the Gospel

4. It is evident of the Grace God bestowed on you to give to Him.

5. There are no words to describe what you actually do when you give!

Hope to see many of you again in South Africa.

Pray that my travels will be safe with not more broken bags on the other side! At least it was not a stolen bag :-)

Would you like to give towards the Masters and Traveling within SA? I will be at 3 conferences as well, representing a voice, calling out missionaries to the 10-40 window, while I also do some training with young people. What a privilege.
